Loan #3: Kob Lunh

Please meet Cambodia's Kob Lunh.  That's her husband on the right.
Kob Lunh needed 500 dollars American, which is, according to my genius calculations, equivalent to about 2091418.20 Cambodia Riels.  Give or take.

The money is going to be used "To buy two cows for breeding."  I don't want to get puerile, but I hope she realizes that there has to be a bull in there somewhere for this thing to work.  This isn't Cinemax.

Assuming there is a boy cow in the picture, this is the kind of microfinance even a humanities type like me can understand.  You get fronted the money for cows, you point a bull at them, and before long there are more bovines than you know want to do with.  Milk!  Leather!  Beef Wellington!  Low key companionship!  Cows provide so much, and with some luck and five hundred smackers, Kob Lunh will soon be lording it over her neighbors from a throne made of happy moo-cows stacked like cheerleaders.
